Natural Lava granulate with exceptionally porous surface which provides optimum conditions for colonization of nitrifying bacteria. Ideal for use with Hydor Prime external filters or other filtering systems for fresh water and marine aquariums. May be used as aquarium bed media. Directions for use: before using, place lava in net and rinse in warm water to remove excess dust then place in filter or aquarium.
